Plant and Brewing Process

Milling - The malt is cleaned, and prior to each brew crushed in a two roller mill. For each brew of IKALE a total of approximately ½ tonne is used. Mashing - The resulting grist is mixed with hot purified water. The resultant mash is mixed in the kettle where the starch of the malt is converted to sweet fermentable sugars, vitamins and minerals...[read more]
